Alexis Andersen is a member of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations and was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon. She studied at the University of British Columbia and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Alexis is working at the Council of Yukon First Nations (CYFN) as the Senior Analyst of Health.
Her current role involves working directly with First Nation families to receive supports and access to services, engaging with Yukon First Nation communities on health and social priorities and advocating on both local and national levels. Alexis is passionate about promoting Yukon First Nations health, well-being, and the work underway towards family and community strengthening.
