About FNIGC Data Online

FNIGC Data Online is an online knowledge translation service from the First Nations Information Governance Centre (FNIGC), Canada’s premier source of information about First Nations people living on reserve and in northern communities across Canada. Launched in 2013, this application provides unprecedented access to FNIGC’s published data in the form of charts, tables and graphs  from the First Nations Regional Health Survey (FNRHS, or RHS) and the First Nations Regional Early Childhood, Education and Employment Survey (FNREEES, or REEES). Please note: all data produced are aggregated nationally and weighted to represent First Nations communities across Canada.

FNIGC Data Online is an easy, no-cost way for researchers, academics, policy-makers and students to access FNIGC’s significant data resources about First Nations reserve communities. For those looking for access to unpublished or raw data, we suggest you contact FNIGC’s First Nations Data Centre, which provides ata access to individuals pursuing academic research, policy development, and program planning and evaluation on a pay-per-use basis.
