The First Nations Information Governance Centre (FNIGC) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for its 2018 National Student Bursary. The 8th annual bursary will grant a $2,500 award—as well as free registration to FNIGC’s Fundamentals of OCAP® online course—to two First Nations post-secondary students enrolled in one of four fields of study:

January 9, 2017 (Ottawa, ON) — The First Nations Information Governance Centre (FNIGC) and its Board of Directors is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2016 FNIGC National Student Bursary, which is awarded annually by the non-profit First Nations organization to two outstanding First Nations college or university students.
The recipients of this year’s bursary are Mr. Kody Doxtator of Six Nations of the Grand River in Ontario and Kathrina Chief Moon Riley, of the Blood Tribe (Kainai) Reserve in Alberta.
The First Nations Information Governance Centre (FNIGC) and its Board of Directors is pleased to announce the recipient of its 2015 National Student Bursary: Ms. Mary Smith of Beausoleil First Nation, Ontario.
Ms. Smith is a third-year PhD Nursing student at the University of Victoria focusing on population health and chronic kidney disease. She will receive a $2,500 bursary to help support her studies.
